We’ll start with fantômes, a piece I wrote for Disklavier (a self-playing grand piano) and electronics – we’ll watch a video of the premiere last year in Stockholm (no pianist was injured at the performance!)

Then Snømaskn (chimera) which I wrote for the Acoustic Atlas, in a version for 8 speakers and video. The commission included a music piece in 3D-format, but also the acoustic space in which it should be performed (as an impulse response, that is the “signature” of the space which can be loaded into a convulsion reverb). More info about my piece, and the story of the imaginary space I created here
This work is also a study on the Buchla from Studio 4 at EMS, together with drums played back and forth and some unedited interviews from the sixties which I found on analog tapes in the bin somewhere.

Last, we’ll watch the second part of the piece filigrane (part II: all that could have been), premiered by the amazing ensemble Names whom I wrote it for, as filmed by the Austrian television at the Limina Festival 2025.

Actually Names ensemble will perform filigrane again in its entirety at the Suena festival 2026 at Westbahnstudios on May 9. Make sure to catch this if you’re in Vienna!

There are some tickets left for the premiere of my orchestra piece Eltamin by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in Stockholm on 28 and 30 May, but catch them while they last. It’s the closing concert of the season at the philharmonic, and conducted by the orchestra’s musical director Ryan Bancroft: not to be missed!

In the next few months I will be in the first stages of a brand new piece…. which has actually been with me for some years already. But its development hadn’t been initiated yet, so I’m very glad for this concretisation which will take me to Rome, Lisbon and Prague among other places, along 2026 and 2027. Stay tuned – – –
hoping to see lots of you on Wednesday already (no advance booking)
